Faith

                       Faith

As Christians, faith must be one of our foundations to following Christ. Faith is very important to a true Christian lifestyle. Without faith we might not even literally be alive, because in everything we do there must be an action of faith. We use faith only realizing what we think is the possible that is seen with our natural eyes, but there are hidden effects that are never noticed. For example, when you turn on a light switch you already know the light is going to come on. To actually flip the light switch and have an expectation for light to appear from the light bulb is a natural conjecture.  Even in this situation you are using faith. The faith is not in the light switch but in the light bulb from the acknowledgement of flipping the light switch. How much more could we move through the mighty works of God using the same actions as a result of faith?
Faith is not only used by the Christian body but by many other religions. There is one difference between Christianity and all the other religions, and that is that our God is not a God of hate but of grace and love showing us the secrets and treasures of heaven when we begin to surrender our lives over. He is always caring for us and wanting us to be blessed exceedingly and abundantly when are in him.
Worry will totally destroy the whole operation of faith. Worry is wondering and doubting whether the situation or prayer will even come true. Worry is evidenced by nothing happening because of the lack of faith.  When we begin to worry the faith becomes less and less.  When we begin to worry we also begin to limit God and lose sight; we are not standing totally on the truth and word of God through any circumstance.  We need to begin to overcome that worry and doubt, stepping into full faith and knowing that God is in control.  It is not always that God will do things your way but by His way, for His ways are higher than ours. We should never question, and therefore cancel a revelation of Jesus. Jesus is perfect theology and can’t fail us in our situations just because we can’t see or imagine the amazing wonders taking place among us.
The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Even though we can’t see it, we must use it, for God has given it to us for a reason.  He wants to use this faith to bless our lives and lives of others to further his kingdom. Miracles will be shown by enacting our faith and by going by what the Bible says about faith.  The impossible will become possible, and the supernatural will become natural. The Bible says that by this faith we can move mountains.
The power and use of faith can go beyond even our own understanding, because our God is beyond all of that. God is a big God.  The faith of bringing us into the salvation of Christ allows us to have deep intimacy, and we do not know how far we can go in him. The intimacy entwines with faith greater than a mustard seed to become a watermelon - so we can step into the kingdom and start moving the mountains in our lives.
